"Junk Art - Don't Rubbish It". Killarney Summerfest 2008

"As part of Killarney Summerfest 2008, the Killarney Outlet centre was the venue for 'Junk Art - Don't Rubbish It' from Wednesday 16th July to Sunday 20th July, an exhibition of wild and wacky creations of artists and young people from all over the county and beyond. This was an interactive exhibition where visitors could unlock their own creativity by taking part in the free Scrap Store workshop. Other events included a composting workshop on Saturday, face painting and family entertainment.

Another favourite feature in the Killarney Summerfest programme was the International Street Performers Competition in association with Killarney Outlet Centre, this event saw top artists from around the globe, fill the streets of Killarney with laughter and delight as they performed their unique high-energy shows."
